Do I Need a Permit?
Depending on what city you are in a permit may be required. Check with your local building department to find out if a permit is required. You may obtain your own permit to save on the expense, or we can obtain a permit for you at an additional cost.
How do I Know Where my Property Line is?
The best way to find out exactly where your property corners (pins) are is to have a property survey done. Some cities may require your property corners (pins) to be exposed for inspections. Some properties have setbacks and easements that may restrict where the fence can be placed. We work with a licensed surveyor who can provide a property survey at an additional cost.
How Long Does the Installation Take?
The average fence takes less than 1 week to complete from start to finish. Most smaller fence projects and all chain link fences can be started and completed in one day. Keep in mind weather can delay completion.
Do All Companies Use the Same Materials?
No, some companies may use inferior materials. Examples are: low grade of cedar, pressure treated pine, thinner chain link posts, top rail and fabric that bends easily. These companies know that most customers will assume they are getting the same quality products regardless of company. They will not take the time to show you, or explain what materials they are using.
